Wynn Jenkins Dental Practice in Cardiff

The practice is equipped with modern surgeries for dental treatment and has full hygienist facilities. We have an award winning laboratory on site which allows the close co-operation required for quality cosmetics and aesthetic dentistry.

The latest in Intra-Oral digital camera technology allows detailed examination of the mouth. This coupled with a DVD based interactive patient education system gives detailed information to assist with informed decisions on treatment options, and all patients routinely have oral cancer screening, we are the first practice in the UK to offer the ‘Veloscope’ (a device for early detection of abnormal tissues in the mouth). We are situated on the ground floor, allowing for wheelchair accessibility.

Wynn qualified in Dentistry at the Welsh National School of Medicine in 1984 and went on to achieve his DPDS in 2006. Since graduating Wynn has been in private practice, moving to the Parade House in 1994.

The practice has a policy of ongoing education and provides the most up to date treatments currently available. This includes ‘Cerec’, a computer aided system which allows us to design and manufacture crowns and inlays while you wait.

Wynn has had a keen interest in aesthetics and restorative dentistry and has lectured extensively around the UK, Ireland and the United States of America. He has also had many articles published in Dental Journals.
